The Nedbank Ke Yona show presenter who previously dated former Kaizer Chiefs goalie Itumeleng Khune is now being linked to a handsome beau who is an actor and model.

Dlamini broke up with Khune late last year and, as she revealed in a magazine interview recently, she has moved on with her life.

Sunday World has reliably learnt that Dlamini has been quietly seeing Quinton Jones, who also works for independent TV production company Urban Brew in Randburg, north of Joburg.

According to two independent sources, one in Dlamini’s management team and another a close friend of hers, she has been been spending a lot of time with Jones since last year but has been telling people that he was just a friend.

The source says Dlamini had been seeing the sexy actor for “at least six months” and that they met through work when she was still the presenter of SABC1’s music show Live.

“The show used to be done from the Urban Brew studios and that’s how they met. They also went out together shopping in and around Douglasdale and North Riding. They had dinner together at Pigalle restaurant in Sandton with another couple a few weeks ago,” said the source.

The friend, who also asked for anonymity, said the two “spent some time at each other’s cribs”.

Jones stays in Fourways in the north of Joburg while Dlamini’s house is in North Riding.

“If you don’t believe me, ask them why they travelled together to Botswana to attend the Samsung launch, where Minnie was the MC,” said the friend.

“If they deny that, ask them about their trip to Germany this week where they are going to watch the Uefa Champions League (final between Juventus and FC Barcelona last night).

“Minnie was invited by adidas so they decided to buy a ticket for Squinzo (Jones’s nickname and Twitter handle) so they can enjoy a working holiday,” explained the friend.

Jones said: “I’m sorry I can’t help you with that. No comment.”

Dlamini’s media manager Jarred Doyle declined to comment.

On Friday, she tweeted: “Good morning from Germany.”

Apparently Dlamini met a few of Jones’s family members a month ago when they travelled to Cape Town to visit his younger sister, who was said to be sick.
